Whizz HR is hiring finance manager for its client in mumbai
They will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the financial strategy. This leadership position requires a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record in managing financial operations, strategic financial planning, and ensuring compliances of all kinds.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the business objectives.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
3. Risk Management:
• Identify and assess financial risks, implementing effective risk management strategies to safeguard the financial health of the unit.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal controls and industry regulations.
4. Cost Management:
• Implement cost control measures and evaluate cost-saving opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Analyze and optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI and profitability.
5. Team Leadership:
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
• Engage with external stakeholders, such as auditors and financial institutions, to ensure transparent and effective financial communication.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA or MBA or other professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
• Proven experience as a Finance Head or similar leadership role, though not mandatory in same industry, will be an added advantage.
• In-depth and uptodate knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performance teams.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
