Job description
OotyTech, a leading consulting firm, is actively seeking an accomplished Senior Project Funding Specialist for our esteemed client in UAE, Dubai. This role is integral to our mission of securing funds for construction projects in Africa. We welcome candidates with a strong background in financial modeling, liaison with financial institutions, and expertise in project funding.
Responsibilities
1. **Project Funding Leadership:**
- Spearhead the end-to-end process of arranging funds for construction projects in Africa.
- Develop and implement innovative funding strategies to optimize project financial structures.
2. **Financial Modeling Expertise:**
- Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to assess project viability and present comprehensive financial analyses.
- Ensure alignment of funding structures with project objectives and financial sustainability.
3. **Bank and Financial Institution Liaison:**
- Cultivate and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, acting as a key liaison for project funding matters.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to secure favorable funding agreements.
**Qualifications:**
Candidates should possess at least one of the following qualifications:
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Inter
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
**Requirements:**
1. **Experience:**
- Proven track record in successfully arranging funds for projects in Africa.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling for large-scale construction projects.
2. **Banking and Finance Expertise:**
- In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, banking processes, and funding mechanisms.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure competitive funding packages.
3. **Qualifications:**
- Possession of one or more qualifications among CFA, CA, CA Inter, ACCA, or an MBA in Finance.
4. **Location:**
- Ability to be based in UAE, Dubai.
**Salary:**
Negotiable, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
