Job description

Position: Senior, Security Researcher

We're cloud security product startup headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, US. We are looking for Senior, Security Researcher to join our product development team.

The individual will be responsible for building advanced feature & capabilities in the existing cloud security product. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT), Cloud security (AWS, GCP), and Python scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build cloud vulnerability assessments capability in the existing solution.
2. Deep understanding of DEVOPS function.
3. Deep knowledge about security events and incidents as well as knowledge about detecting threats/Anomalies and vulnerabilities in cloud.
4. Feature/capabilities to be built in the existing product.
5. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
6. Collaborate with other teams to implement new features in the existing product.
7. Develop and maintain scripts using Python to automate security tasks and improve efficiency.
8. Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in information & data security and certifications.
3. Experience of Cloud Security (AWS, GCP) and/or security best practices for cloud-based infrastructure.
4. Strong scripting skills in Python & Dev-sec-ops familiarity.
5. Good knowledge about malware detection techniques.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
