Outdoor Sales Executive
Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented individual to join our
team as an Outdoor Sales Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for developing
the local dealer market, generating sales leads, building strong relationships with
dealers, distributors, end customers, and contractors. Your primary focus will be on B2B
sales activities conducted in the field. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced
sales professional to contribute to the growth and expansion of our organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Local Dealer Market Development:
Identify and target potential dealers and distributors in the local market.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers, nurturing
partnerships.
Conduct market research to identify market trends, competitor activities,
and potential growth opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective dealer support
programs and promotional activities.
2. Sales Generation:
Generate leads and actively pursue new business opportunities with
dealers, distributors, end customers, and contractors.
Present product offerings to potential clients and negotiate sales
agreements.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Provide on-going support to dealers, end customers, and contractors,
addressing their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for dealers, end customers, and
contractors, maintaining regular communication.
Address inquiries, provide product information, and assist in resolving any
customer concerns.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key dealers, end
customers, and contractors, promoting customer loyalty and retention.
4. Market Research and Analysis:
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor
activities.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential
customer segments.
Analyze sales data, market feedback, and customer insights to improve
sales strategies and offerings.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, dealer interactions, and
market developments.
Prepare regular sales reports, performance analyses, and forecasts for
management review.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant
regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or
equivalent experience).
Proven experience in outdoor sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in local dealer market development, distributor management, and
engaging with end customers and contractors.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
Proficient in using CRM software using the internet proficiently for lead
generation and business activities including but not limited to sales
