Job description
Technique Solaire is a French independent producer of solar electricity, founded in 2008, leading the PV rooftop market in France, India, Netherland & Spain, with more than 200 employees and an annual turnover of 250 million euros.
We are experts in developing, financing, building and operating solar projects. We own and operate 300+ MWp of assets in France, Netherlands and India and have more than 1,8 GWp of projects in construction and development.
Our Spanish subsidiary, Technique Solaire Spain, has been incorporated in 2022 with approx. 30MW of solar projects ready to build and pipeline of approx. 400MW.
We aim to quickly expand our activities in Spain. Our target is to have 500 MWp of operational projects in the country by the end of 2026.
Missions:
Project Finance (65%)
- To oversee the financing of all solar projects in India and also look at Re-financing of operational projects with Lenders
- To manage the day-to-day activities/relationship with the Lenders (Banks etc.) with the Indian Accounts team
- To manage the existing External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) with the AD Bank and lead the prospective
- Structuring changes on the India business in coordination with the Legal Counsel
- Drafting and vetting of MOA, MOU, Bank guarantee, Indemnity Bonds if any, Undertakings and authority letters, vendor contracts, donor contracts, framing disclaimers in our contracts, etc. Vetting, consultation and coordination with the external lawyers to ensure documents are legally sound
- To monitor activities related to financial aspects of Project Planning & Execution of future projects or expansion/upgradations in existing projects
Acquisitions (20%)
Analyse potential Solar PV plant acquisition
1. Financial modelling & supervision of due diligence
2. Preparation of acquisition opportunity presentation for management
3. Management of financial & tax advisor
Finance controlling (10%)
- Follow-up of accounting related to legal (March 31st) or Group obligations (monthly and December 31st) with Chartered Accountant firm and French Finance Controlling team
- Work with the Indian Director & French Finance & accounts teams to ensure with local regulations & compliance.
Reporting of activities to Management (5%)
- Providing updates and reports to the internal committees, Management, and the Board on a regular basis on relevant finance issues
Experience:
- At least 10 years’ experience with Project Finance (preferably in renewable energy sector)
- Prior work experience with External Commercial Borrowing (ECB), Development Finance Corporations etc. is a plus
- M&A experience would be a plus
- Chartered Account would be preferred
- Strong experience in negotiating & finalising Lender Contracts and Agreements
- Experience in Renewable energy sector is a plus
Skills:
- Advanced skills in financial modelling
- Advanced skills in legal documentation negotiation
- Master’s Degree in Finance/Chartered Accountant would be a plus
- Software: Good knowledge of MS Office pack & Tally. Should be open to learning new tools
- Strong ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Languages: English (Professional), Hindi, Basic knowledge of French would be a plus
