Job Description Job Title - Business Analyst - DB The Purpose of This Role Defined Benefits - File Processing team supports our business partners in the US in servicing corporate / institutional customers in pension benefits administration. The Team works with internal teams (Client, Operations team, Technology team) along with external partners (Client, Actuary's, vendors) to Gather, Validate, Prep, Analyze and Deliver
Data . This is done through a series of processes, both technical and non-technical, that allows our clients to resolve plan funding, Plan Design, Participant Reporting, and Risk Mitigation. Your role will be passionate about those critical steps to support data delivery along with overall data process automation.
The Value You Deliver - Performance analysis on large data set and identifies patterns, outliers, methodologies, gaps, areas for improvement.
- Data extraction, transformation and driving relevant metrics review discussion with the management team with insights
- Documents and presents findings to key partners
- Responds to ad-hoc client reporting data requests
- Continually works to identify new opportunities to provide valuable metrics to the business and management team
- Work with upstream & downstream processes and constantly look for areas to automate or inject Business review where their Value can be improved
The Skills That Are Key To This Role Technical - Demonstrable understanding on SQL/Azure, Python, Sophisticated Excel & Access
- Exposure to other Data Software or Data Languages i.e. Tableau, Power BI, and/or Other applicable
- Very good analytical skill related to working with structured and unstructured data
- Strong analytical and data mining abilities along with social skills
- Skilled in data visualization and data analysis with strong presentation skills

- Able to work within a team environment and support common goals. Help build agreement within the team & associate.

How Your Work Impacts The Organization Defined Benefits, Health & Welfare Operations and Implementations group supports our business partners in the US in servicing corporate / institutional customers in benefits administration vertical. This involves moving the customers to the Fidelity platform and supporting their ongoing record-keeping needs. This is done through a series of processes, both technical and non-technical, that helps a customer to use our products and services. The Defined Benefits arm of Fidelity provides administration services to many organizations in the US. This service offering is a part of Fidelity's total benefit outsourcing business
The Expertise We're Looking For - 7 – 10years of specialized experience in data research and analysis.
- Knowledge on US Pension plans and/or actuarial work an added advantage.
- Graduate in any stream with relevant domain knowledge.
Location: Bangalore – EGL
Shift Timings : 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm
