Job Overview
We are hiring a Shipment Documentation professional to join our team at Manav Management Group, a reputed company in Faridabad. As a Shipment Documentation, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of export and import documentation, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring smooth shipment processes. This is a full-time position for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in export and import documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in export and import documentation
- Strong understanding of export and import procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements
- Proficiency in handling export documentation such as performa invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, etc.
- Knowledge of import documentation including customs clearance, duty calculation, etc.
- Familiarity with shipment coordination, tracking, and reporting
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in using tally and other shipment documentation software
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Handle all export and import documentation processes efficiently
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipment documents
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, shipping agents, and government authorities to ensure compliance with regulations
- Verify and manage necessary documentation such as invoices, bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs declarations
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of export and import documentation
- Track and update shipment status and provide regular reports to stakeholders
- Resolve any documentation-related issues or discrepancies
- Maintain knowledge of current international trade regulations and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline shipment processes and improve efficiency
