Job description
AjnaLens is seeking a talented and passionate Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist at AjnaLens, you will play a pivotal role in unlocking the potential of data to drive innovation and create valuable insights for our XR products and services. You will work on challenging and exciting projects that leverage machine learning, data analysis, and statistical modelling to solve real-world problems.
As a Data Scientist you will:
- Conduct research and analysis in the areas of Advanced Deep Learning, 3D Computer Vision, and Sequence Models for Text and Video.
- Design and develop innovative algorithms to address complex problems in Xtended reality (XR) and computer vision.
- Utilize your strong understanding of deep learning and reinforcement learning concepts to create and optimise pipelines for product development and deployment.
- Implement and experiment with various deep learning architectures, including supervised, unsupervised, generative, and reinforcement learning models.
- Leverage your programming skills in Python and C++ to build robust and efficient solutions.
- Work extensively with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow to develop and train models.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and product managers, to define project requirements and contribute to product roadmaps.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision, AI research, and related technologies.
- Apply cutting-edge techniques and approaches to enhance the functionality and performance of our XR products.
- Work independently and as part of a fast-paced research and development environment.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and creativity when overcoming challenges in XR and computer vision projects.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of advanced deep learning concepts, including supervised, unsupervised, generative, and reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in 3D Computer Vision and Sequence Models for Text and Video.
- Demonstrated experience in creating optimised deep learning, reinforcement learning, and computer vision pipelines for product development and deployment on both Edge and Cloud platforms.
- Proven ability to conduct research and design algorithms to solve complex problems.
- Strong programming experience in Python and C++.
- In-depth understanding of deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
Desirable Additional Skills:
- Computer Graphics: Knowledge and experience in computer graphics would be a valuable additional skill.
- Industry Experience: Experience in industries related to XR (Extended Reality) and Graphics is desirable.
