Job description
Ensure compliance with GST law by accurately filling various GST returns and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of GST regulations.
Manage and coordinate with various departments and external consultants for both direct and indirect tax matters, ensuring timely and accurate tax submissions.
Demonstrate proficiency in SAP to effectively handle taxation-related tasks and data management.
Possess in-depth knowledge of Income Tax law, keeping abreast of any changes or updates in tax regulations.
Prepare and file various income tax returns in compliance with the Income Tax Act, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Collaborate with the finance team to provide necessary tax-related information and support financial planning and reporting activities.
Conduct tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies, making recommendations to management.
Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and financial statements, ensuring proper tax accounting in accordance with applicable laws.
Communicate and liaise with tax authorities, responding to inquiries, audits, and assessments as needed.
Stay informed about evolving tax laws, regulations, and best practices, and proactively implement changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
