Job description
Overview:
As a Mern Stack Developer you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing complex web applications using the MERN (MongoDB Express React Node.js) stack. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop innovative software solutions and contribute to the entire software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement userfacing features using React
- Develop and maintain serverside architecture using Node.js and Express
- Build and maintain efficient and reliable JavaScript code
- Create database schemas and interact with MongoDB
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection
- Work in an Agile environment and participate in sprint planning and reviews
- Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests
- Troubleshoot and debug issues
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices
- Contribute to architectural and design decisions
- Participate in code reviews
- Provide technical support and mentor junior developers
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Mern Stack Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Handson experience with React Node.js and Express
- Experience with database design using MongoDB
- Good understanding of web markup including HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for writing clean efficient code
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certifications in MERN stack development or related technologies is a plus
