Role: Palo Alto Developers /Sr Developer
Location: Hyderabad Bangalore Pune
Hybrid Mode Position Exp: 5 7 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design and implementation of Palo Alto Networks security solutions in various environments including enterprise multicloud and hybridcloud setups.
- Drive the development and design of security solutions like SASE/SSE across public and private clouds mobile access and onpremises networks. Ensure effective log storage integration and management.
- Analyze business requirements within a managed service context and translate them into an integrated platform with capabilities such as SIEM SOC storage and ITSM.
- Design and implement data storage solutions including data warehouses and datalakes for efficient ingestion into SOC platform toolsets including SIEM solutions.
- Provide expertlevel guidance on data queries log aggregation and the function of the Palo Alto Cortex Data Lake. Understand integration into thirdparty tools.
- Develop dashboards based on business requirements for visibility into analytics alerts and critical infrastructure.
- Coordinate with solution vendors for product upgrades/security patches and troubleshoot productrelated defects and issues.
- Perform upgrades and deploy patches postimpact analysis in nonproduction and production environments following change management protocols.
- Interact with clients working with client teams in both onsite and offshore delivery models.
- Lead requirements gathering and design documentation through workshops for multiple projects in onsite/offshore delivery models.
- Lead and collaborate closely with vendor alliances.
- Manage project deliverables teams and mitigate project risks.
- Enable business development by assisting in requests for proposal and sales processes.
- Lead process compliance activities identify and drive initiatives relevant to project delivery and promote reusability and related benefits.
- Contribute to eminence activities such as whitepapers related to network security technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in engineering computer science information security or information systems.
- 57 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering & operations with a focus on supporting infrastructure operations SOC management or similar domains.
- Experience in multicloud environments (e.g. AWS GCP Azure) particularly around log storage analytics and data storage technologies.
- Understanding of Palo Alto Networks platforms including Cortex Data Lake Strata Cloud or NGFW firewall architecture.
- Proficiency in common scripting languages (Python HTML JavaScript) for automation playbook creation and infrastructure as code (IaC) scripting.
- Strong understanding of nextgeneration firewall features including DNS SSL VPN multifactor authentication and IPS technologies.
- Excellent communication planning organizing skills to foster teamwork and collaboration and facilitate communication between clients employees and management.
- Ability to create clear process documents SOPs and runbooks for daytoday operations.
- Experience coordinating and collaborating with multiple vendors for ongoing issues and new technology enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and the ability to define execute and enforce key ITIL processes like incident problem and change management.
- Proficiency in planning scheduling tracking and reporting on project timelines/milestones using collaboration tools like ServiceNow/Jira.
- Logical and practical understanding of SSDLC.
- Ability to plan execute advanced Network Security training and drive proof of concepts involving emerging technologies.
Preferred:
- Experience with SASE/SSE concepts including FWaaS CASB and WAN technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as Splunk Core Enterprise Architect Palo Alto Networks PCNSE Cisco CCNP or equivalent.
- Experience with network security or similar domain solutions architecture for enterprise datacenter or complex environments.
- Experience with leading SASE/SSE solutions from vendors like Palo Alto Networks Netskope ZScaler.
- Experience with Public Cloud Networking (Azure AWS GCP).
- Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks implementation and maturity.
- Understanding of data governance aligned with frameworks like NIST CISA FISMA etc.
- Proficiency in PowerBI Tableau or other analytics and reporting tools.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) role contribution in network security technologies toolsets or capabilities.
- Experience onboarding data sources to Splunk Cloud and developing Splunk dashboards using SPL.
- Establishment and maintenance of standards and procedures for team work.
- Thorough understanding of data networking & security technologies and network implementations.
