Description Position: APAC CP SC Master Scheduler Location: Hyderabad, India This role is regional in scope, operating as part of a Regional Supply Planning Team:
Key Responsibilities - Develops and maintains the global aggregate supply plans within the ERP System for Finish Goods, Formulation, technical over the full S&OP horizon (36 months) for several portfolios.
- Accountable for an effective supply demand balance for the end to end supply chain
- Translates demand requirements and supply capability into a time-phased aggregate supply and inventory plan in monthly resolution over the S&OP horizon that satisfies expected demand at the lowest business cost.
- Analyzes, monitors and confirms the implementation of changes per plan. Identifies potential issues and risks to the global supply and develop contingency plans
- Manages supply exceptions within the S&OE horizon, including prioritization and resolution across CUs. Escalates issues as necessary. Monitors supply allocations. Enforce allocations when necessary according to business strategy.
- Facilitates communication and interaction with Commercial, Manufacturing and Sourcing functions to effectively balance supply and demand in the short mid/long-term horizon via the IBP process.
- Serves as focal point for communications with Global Portfolio Planning team on alignment between global and regional plans.
- Balances the rough-cut capacity plan for the full 5 years plan for active ingredients to ensure longer term capacity gaps and action plans are identified.
- Track key performance metrics for the portfolios, leads cause analysis to drive continuous improvement, to optimize inventory, reduce cost, and eliminate wastes.
- Leads and participates in product launch projects as appropriate; e.g. new formulation, line extension, alternative/new supply sources, etc.)
- Support other supply chain projects and assignments as required
Qualifications Minimum Requirements: - BS/BA/BCom degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical field
- Minimum 6 -10 years equivalent Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Scheduling, and Planning experiences
- Minimum 3-5 years in a Supply Chain Planning role
- Strong knowledge in MRP II / IBP / ERP technology and Supply Chain systems
- Good Communication/Logic Thinking
Preferred - SAP/ECC/APO/SCM7/BW system
- S&OP/IBP Planning Process
- APICS certification or advanced supply chain certification
- Project Management Skills
- Six Sigma Green / Black Belt / Lean Practitioner
