Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead and manage our AI and ML initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding and hands-on experience in the AI / ML technologies. Should possess strong leadership abilities and proven track record of successfully delivering AI/ML Projects.

Primary Duties Responsibilities

• AI/ML:
  • Lead the exploration of AI and ML applications that enhance Employee experiences, Product Experience and provide insights on Engineering data.
  • Analyze data collected during manufacturing and assist in improving yields and cycle time of our products.
  • Analyze various forecast and based on the past provide prediction on their accuracy as will as provide a more accurate forecast based on past behaviors.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies, trends, and industry innovations.
• Algorithm Development:
  • Drive the development of advance AI/ML algorithm and models, optimizing for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate machine learning techniques and tools for specific projects.
• Data Governance and Compliance:
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Define data access controls, data ownership, and stewardship responsibilities.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with IT, data engineering, product Management, Finance, Sales, Engineering and business teams to implement and scale solutions.
• Team Leadership:
  • Manage a team of AI/ML professionals, provide guidance, support and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Develop, code and review technical designs and guide technical discussions and directions.
  • Manage project risks, budgets, and resources, adjusting strategies to meet evolving requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Present data-related updates, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate AI/ML progress, results and insights to stakeholders at all levels, including non-technical teams and executives.
• Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules regulations, applicable codes etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Experience

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science or related fields. A masters degree is a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of machine learning techniques, algorithms, and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Knowledge of programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python and R.
• Understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
• 3+ years experience leading data management teams.

Skills

• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Business acumen and the ability to align data initiatives with business objectives.
• Experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), Power BI, DAX, Snowflake, databases (Oracle, SQL, mySQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data-related challenges.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for data-driven decision-making and a keen interest in leveraging AI and ML technologies to drive business insights.
• Previous experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
