Job description
Years of Experience:
- 3-6 years of overall experience
- 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, data strategy, and reporting
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Data warehouse concepts and Data modelling principles
• Data mining and extracting usable data from valuable data sources
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems
• Analysing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions
• Gather business requirements, collect data from different data sources, generate metrics, build reports, provide data insights and document the process.
• Perform mapping of data sources, data movement, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality using ETL Methodologies and tools
• Use Tableau to develop and deliver metrics dashboards as well as standardized, custom, and ad hoc reporting for key stakeholders
• Manage expectations and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely delivery of results
• Work with Analytics leadership to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives
• Prepare spreadsheets, Prep flows, SQL queries, and Tableau dashboards that perform calculations to allow data to be viewed across many parameters
• Execute the pre QA test scripts to confirm the validity of the inputs received
• Ensure the accuracy of metrics by performing detailed quality reviews, data testing, and technical troubleshooting for Level-1 issues
• Create, build and deliver specific custom analysis projects as determined by needs of the business
• Visual presentation of quantitative information through tools such as PowerPoint and Tableau
• Manage end to end surveys and practitioner outreach activities including designing and rolling out surveys, monitoring results, closing surveys, tracking and reporting results
• Ability to interact with customers to present standard offerings, insights and findings
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Python programming.
- Experience with data wrangling – ability to interpret and clean data using Python.
- Working experience with Python & libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Transformers, scikit-learn, and Keras.
- Experience dealing with both structured & unstructured datasets and drawing insights from the data.
- Good understating of statistical methods – sampling, modelling, hypothesis testing and interpreting model results (t value / z scores).
- Ability to build and fine tune algorithms that scale up from small-scale proof-of-concept stage to full production systems.
- Experience with text analytics & NLP libraries preferred.
- Experience with Databricks preferred.
- Agile development experience preferred.
- Familiarity in at least some visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Familiarity with Azure deployments preferred.
- Strong Tableau Desktop skills required
