Your Impact:
- Finalization of accounts on a monthly basis as per Group policies.
- Review monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness and major variances between actual and budget results.
- Manage all accounting operations including Overseeing - Billing, A/R, A/P, TWC, GL n all controllership related activities
- Support the Business Finance in preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and fully accountable for regulatory compliances
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Liaise effectively and resolve any issues with stakeholders on all financial reporting matters
- Ensure compliance with all Groupe Policies and statutory financial controls
- Assist in any additional reporting, continuous improvement or Group projects as appropriate that may arise on an adhoc basis
- Ensure risk identification, escalation, investigation and mitigation
- Ensure a sound understanding of, demonstrate commitment to & comply with all legislation & Publicis Sapient Policies relevant to your role & all activities undertaken in that role.
- Actively develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with all Publicis Sapient personnel both at interpersonal level and across all business processes within the wider business environment.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor of Accountancy or CA equivalent
- 6+ years of post-qualification experience
- Relevant experience within the IT/ITES sector preferred
Set Yourself Apart With:
Knowledge
- Knowledge of accounting standards (India, International, and US GAAP) and tax requirements
- Experience in using ERP and other accounting systems and reporting packages
- Experience with HFM, SAP & Oracle
- Experience in analysis of data and reporting compilation
- Experience of STPI/SEZ stipulations
Skills (including technology)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in reviewing financial data & identifying errors
- Ability to prioritize and effective time management skills
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (both written & conversational)
