Role And Responsibilities As a Manager – Procurement, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely and efficient procurement of quality services for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the tendering process to ensure timely procurement of required services
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and the ability to navigate through service-related statutory requirements, especially taxation including GST
- Planning and providing inputs for the departmental procurement plan, including annual contracts and material planning
- Reviewing purchase requisitions based on the defined criteria and initiating necessary procurement prerequisites
- Managing vendor partners, including registration, performance evaluation based on Quality, Quantity, and Delivery (QQD) analysis, vendor development, and handling of complaints
- Driving initiatives to improve cycle time, quality of services, and cost of procurement through innovative methods
- Identifying risks in the supply chain and preparing mitigation plans
- Formulating warehouse strategies in line with defined service level agreements (SLAs)
- Ensuring high levels of accuracy in results without compromising established processes and standards
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in the procurement discipline and analyzing their impact on the role
- Applying best practices and systems to sustain continuous improvement
Candidate Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in procurement
- Sound knowledge of taxation, particularly GST, and service-related statutory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
