Job Overview

We are looking for a Payroll Executive to join our team at Podar Education Network. As a Payroll Executive, you will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our employees. This includes calculating wages, preparing and distributing payslips, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will also handle employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and assist with other HR operations as needed. Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience. This is a full-time position based in Parel, Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications And Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Knowledge of payroll software and systems
  • Strong understanding of payroll procedures and laws
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • HR generalist knowledge is a plus

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Manage and process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime based on established policies and guidelines
  • Prepare and distribute payslips to employees
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to payroll
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
  • Assist with HR operations, such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and data management
  • Collaborate with the HR team to improve payroll processes and systems
  • Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary changes
  • Generate payroll reports and analysis as required
