IT Senior Technical Specialist for the Enterprise Sharing Area (ESA)

We are looking for an energetic professional to join our Enterprise Information Technology team as an IT Senior Technical Specialist responsible for the design, administration, and management of the Enterprise Sharing Area (ESA) enterprise-wide system.
The Enterprise Sharing Area (ESA) is a data sharing repository, collecting data from various Company organizational areas (ie HR, Finance, IT, and Real Estate) then providing a consolidated view of authoritative data to our Company's applications globally.
The position will facilitate the request for new project subscriptions and changes as well as manage source system project changes and new publications to the ESA ensuring data privacy requirements are met in accordance with internal and governmental policies. The position determines when to publish new datasets to the ESA, when to decommission datasets and providing new architecture enhancements as required.
Responsibilities:
Manage project requests for new subscriptions or subscription changes working with business stewards and IT partners to solidify the requirement, establish the cost, gain approval, and implement the solution.
Manage Project related Source system changes by identifying ESA impacts and coordinating and communicating impacts to downstream systems, providing subscriber test environments, and coordinating the rollout to production with sources and subscribers.
Design and build data-sharing architecture solutions utilizing multiple data sources to produce a single version of core data assets.
Design, technical development, and distribution of Master Data Management objects across our Company, particularly with respect to HR data.
Engage with the HR Center of Excellence to develop effective data sharing processes and ensure standardization and compliance.
Lead in the constant redesign and evolution of the ESA architecture
Negotiate with ESA downstream applications regarding remediation efforts
Coach and develop other team resources and/or contractors to support normal ESA subscription activities (requirements, creation of Oracle views and Informatica IDMC integrations, interface with 3rd Party Vendors, subscription support in the Collibra)
Utilize agile methods and frameworks to drive efficient solution development and delivery.
Work closely with the product squads to translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Engaging with enterprise stakeholders, securing their input, and incorporating it into the work of the team.
Empowering the team to determine how to deliver development work most effectively and efficiently.
Grooming best-in-class product features with detailed analysis of impact vs. value.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to understand strategic IT goals to be able to execute initiatives in support of enterprise-wide information sharing and data integration initiatives.

Position Qualifications :
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Related Degree
Required Experience and Skills:
6+ years of experience in architecture specifications and software design, including requirements, development, testing, knowledge transfer to operational teams, monitoring, and retirement of code, when appropriate
Experience in using Oracle database, Informatica ETL Tool, SQL/PLSQL programming language.
Experience in data lake technologies like Databricks, DBT and Starburst Trino.
Experience in AWS technologies like RDS, S3, etc.,
Experience in Agile methodologies and Dev Ops tools like GitHub, Jira, Jenkins etc.,
Ability to work independently.
Ability to build collaborative relationships and negotiate requirements across multiple groups.
Ability to envision solutions to satisfy immediate needs, yet within a global, enterprise-wide context.
Experience working with an Enterprise Sharing Architecture, with interfaces to other enterprise-wide systems, such as Workday.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
Ability to interpret architecture designs and to abstract and define interfaces.
Experience leading small to medium teams of onsite and offsite developers, and in coaching less experienced team members.
Experience in projects involving enterprise-wide use of data.
Experience in problem solving and issue resolution.
Experience in working with both project teams and the business to understand, verify, and translate business requirements into technical system requirements, including in the use of shareable data.
Experience in supporting complex / critical enterprise-wide information systems.
Excellent communication skills that cross technical and business boundaries.
Experience in estimating efforts and cost involved in the expected work.
Experience in managing release-related activities - coordinating with subscribers and release management teams; and in supporting code migration through to production environments.
A good working knowledge of HR data and data privacy requirements.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience in supporting complex / critical enterprise-wide information systems.
A working knowledge of HR data and data privacy requirements.
Exposure to Agile Methodology and SDLC documentation principles and practice.
Pharmaceutical experience a plus.
