Job description
? Conceptualize, build, and implement fraud scoring models, fraud identification and
prevention strategies, designing data systems to monitor and help conduct data mining
exercises across sales, collections, and other functions.
? Use of alternate data sources to top up conventional data sources in preventing frauds.
? Review & provide inputs to credit and operational policies to prevent frauds.
? Developing and maintaining databases, data systems – reorganizing data in readable
format
? Propose system modifications and develop new reports with relevant data for
consumption by business and enhancing level of insights.
? Preparing reports for the management and stakeholders highlighting trends, patterns
and predictions using relevant data
? Complete ownership of data requirements and create processes to fulfil same within
timelines
? Introduce new data tools and reports/ dashboards to control frauds
Candidate Profile:
5+ years similar experience preferably in Banks, NBFC’s, FinTech, Consulting with
experience in fraud analytics.
? Proficient in working with data, like data exploration, data cleaning, aggregation, data
concept creation, feature engineering using Sas, MS-SQL or Oracle SQL.
? Be able to write routines in Python, R
? Use of supervised and unsupervised statistical techniques
? Strong understanding and implementation experience of statistical concepts and
modelling techniques like Boosted regression, Random Forest, ensemble learning
models, etc.
? Strong communication skills and ability to build data story.
? Good team player and be ready to work in projects requiring collaboration.
