Key Responsibilities: Android App Development: - Utilize your expertise in Java/Kotlin for the development of Android applications, ensuring they meet high standards of functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Infotainment System's HMI Design and Development:
- Contribute significantly to the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) design and development of the Infotainment system.
- Take ownership of the component library, collaborating closely with UX/Design, Product Owner, and tech leads.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Teamwork: - Work effectively within cross-functional teams, collaborating with Interaction and graphic designers, ensuring seamless integration of design elements into the software.
Test-Driven Development: - Implement a test-driven development approach, writing automated unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of code.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Integration: - Contribute to maintaining high-quality standards by actively participating in the continuous integration environment.
- Engage in the setup and execution of automatic test cases using emulators, rigs, or test cars for end-to-end testing.
Technical Skills: - Leverage your proficiency in Android stack and related development tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, and Make.
- Work comfortably in a Linux environment and demonstrate competence in using Git/Gerrit/Jenkins tools.
Additional Merit: - Possession of a Swedish Driver's license (B-level) is considered a merit.
This Role Requires: - M.Sc in Software Engineering or corresponding relevant experience - Experience in Java/Kotlin app development
- Experience in Android stack and related development and build tools (Android Studio, Gradle and Make)
- Writing automated unit and integration tests as a natural part of design and implementation
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Experience in working with Git/Gerrit/Jenkins tools
- Good communication skills, including in English (written and spoken)
It is meritorious if you have:
- Knowledge about established Android UI concepts and modern techniques like Jetpack Compose
- Experience in creating and maintaining software libraries - Experience in stakeholder and requirements handling
