RangeAero envisions itself among the leaders in the regional unmanned aviation with ultra-low-cost-aircraft globally, by strategically positioning the tech amp; development operations in India- an emerging hub for aerospace component manufacturing. RangeAero is materialising the opportunity for short-haul cargo operations at 4x speed with autonomous microlight helicopters (2-seater equivalent), with capacity of 150 kgs to cover 200 kms. RangeAero is creating the full ecosystem for such pilotless freight aircrafts including the operational tech-framework.

What's The Job Design, develop, integrate and test control systems for unmanned autonomous helicopters.
What Qualifications You Should Have - A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or an advanced degree Masters with 2 years of professional experience, or PhD in a relevant field) is required.
- Is available for a full time (in-office) position and can start immediately or within a month.
What You'll Be Do - Develop, design, and analyze control systems for aircrafts, including flight control systems, autopilots, and stability augmentation systems.
- Conduct simulations and modeling to assess the performance and stability of control systems under various conditions.
- Define and document control system requirements based on helicopter performance specifications and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of control systems with other aircraft subsystems.
- Implement and validate these algorithms using simulation tools and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
- Conduct extensive testing, including ground-based testing, flight simulation, and flight testing to verify the performance and safety of control systems.
- Develop and implement fault-tolerant strategies to ensure the helicopter can operate safely in the event of system failures.
- Design diagnostic systems to identify and mitigate faults within the control systems.
- Ensure that control systems comply with relevant aviation regulations and standards (e.g., FAA, EASA).
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of control system designs, algorithms, and test results.
- Produce clear and concise reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience in control system design specially in the modified control system
- Experience with nonlinear systems.
- Good programming skills, understanding of DSA.
