IMPORTANT NOTE - This is an overnight position and he schedule is as per US hours. Freight Broker Job Description: Are you a dynamic and ambitious individual with excellent communication skills? Are you experienced in making effective sales calls, even if you don't have a background in logistics? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Freight Broker. Responsibilities: Customer Acquisition: Engage in outbound sales calls to build and expand a portfolio of customers for freight services. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and competitors to provide valuable insights and identify potential opportunities. Negotiation: Negotiate rates with carriers and shippers to secure the best deals for both parties. Documentation: Handle and manage the necessary paperwork and documentation associated with freight transactions. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the transportation process to ensure smooth operations. Requirements: Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners. Sales Experience: Prior experience in making sales calls and a proven track record of achieving sales targets is highly desirable. Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and understand the logistics industry, even if you do not have prior experience in this field. Negotiation Skills: Adept at negotiating and closing deals to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Customer Focus: Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
