Job description
MISSION Supports ‘DCS Operational Reporting and Service Asset and Configuration Management Process within DCS Service Operation India under the guidance of Asset and Configuration Manager. Collect process and analyse data from various platforms, interpret underlying patterns and trends to support decision making. Drive and embed DCS Strategy of Hyperscale. OUTCOMES Business Analysis:
- Work closely with business, customers, stakeholders and SMEs to understand their requirements and transform them with data-driven insights to deliver the expected outcomes
- Apply data mining techniques to provide feasible solutions to business needs
- Active participation in UAT and produce user manual and documentation
- Identify opportunities and improvise various processes & procedures
Data Analysis: - Apply data mining techniques on multiple datasets/platforms, do gap-analysis, derive results
- Devise policies and procedures to ensure Data quality, control, efficiency and consistency
- Apply data visualisation techniques and other conventional methods to produce efficient reports for business and customers
Business-as-usual accountabilities: - Achieve SLA with accuracy of reports
- Transformation and efficiency of reporting services via automation
- Manage regular BAU activities
- Thrive constantly to improve the services
- Assist identify and implement continual service improvement
THE TEAM The Data analyst will be reporting to Hiring Manager (Asset & Configuration Manager) and will be working alongside existing colleagues in the team. The head office is Mumbai, but will be working under the Bangalore hub to be near the rest of the team and be available for meetings.
THE SKILLS / EXPERTISE THEY BRING Essential - Knowledge on Data Centre Facility Infra Configuration Items
- Experience in Data mining and Data visualisation techniques
- Excellent knowledge on MS Excel/Access/PowerPoint
- Expertise in verbal & written communication skills
- Good analytical skill
- Positive attitude towards changes
- Thrive to take initiative and responsibility
Desirable - Experience with working in an international environment
- Experience in complex data management
- Experience in Data management via BI
Added advantage - Working knowledge on any ITSM ticketing tools
- Hands-on experience in any reporting tools like Power BI
- Knowledge in Database / Query language
Qualification - Graduate or post graduate in IT/Management/Electrical/Mechanical with 2 years of experience
- ITIL (V4) Certification (added advantage)
