Job description
Job Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing critical quality review of production data and letters. Follows established procedures to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Maintains accurate information about services delivered and work tasks performed. Provides feedback on error to business partners and collaborates to resolve defects in a timely manner.
Primary Functions: Completes quality reviews for communications related to their role requiring excellent understanding of current Cigna policies and procedures, job aids, SOPs and alerts, as well as regulatory requirements, contractual benefits and specific customer circumstances. Uses multiple digital and electronic tools to perform daily tasks including standard business applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, as well as specialized and proprietary software, tools, and applications. Builds relationships with business partners in relation to quality audit process, identifying gaps in the audit process and recommendations for gap closure. Completes reviews of test-case audits and communications to ensure requirements have been met based on provided criteria. Provides feedback to business partners where updates may be necessary to drive consistency and accuracy; lessen confusion or ambiguity. Key Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 2-3+ years in a quality assurance or compliance role, preferred Experience with communications; writing or editing a plus. Experience with SQL basics a plus Strong communication (oral and written), time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Proficient using MS Office software (Excel and Word) and accessing multiple systems simultaneously. Strong analytical skills and ability to multitask. Ability to work under minimal direction to complete highly complex/sensitive issues. Must have a keen sense of attention to detail, be able to work independently and complete tasks within established timelines/deadlines. Ability to meet/exceed quality, productivity and service standards. Ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and workflow changes.
