Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Backend Senior Software Engineer. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the following day-to-day activities: Working with the team to deliver and maintain robust and scalable solutions Designing, developing, and maintaining back-end workflows Writing high-quality, maintainable, reusable code Participating in code reviews and team knowledge-sharing sessions Researching new technologies and proposing ideas for technical and architectural improvements Establishing and enforcing coding best practices, design patterns and guidelines Enhancing our processes and helping in their operations Working as a technical point of contain with our product team as well as our clients when needed Assisting in breaking down requirements into manageable units of work, performing estimates and solutions to meet our roadmap and release deadlines Qualifications Computer Science Degree Back-End Web Development and Programming skills Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Ability to understand and write in a variety of programming languages Good to have (Optional) 5-10 years of industry experience Experience in Software and System design Experience in micro-service based architecture as well as API first based platforms Exposure to cloud solutions such as Azure or AWS Experience in building scalable backend workflows Excellent Communication Skills - Ability to communicate, gather requirements over calls from onsite team, partners and clients Knowledge of US Healthcare Domain Work hours for this role would be US Central . Our tech stack consist of Node.js, Angular.js, HAPI and AWS Lambdas(Python) for workflows. This role would be mostly working with Lambdas. We use python for our lambdas mostly.Job tags
