Job description
Profile : Database Developer - ETLSenior Role :Job description :- Strong in Agile, JIRA- Design Data warehouse table and applicable documentation.- Develop table creation scripts and execute the scripts for the Database Administrator (DBA).- Analyze data sources and determine data relationships to pair with the business requirements documentation (BRD).- Familiarity with data quality issues and Exact, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.- Design and develop Extract Load Transform (ELT) process and load data from source tables into staging tables and then into target fact and dimension tables utilizing Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).- Validate data loaded into various tables utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL) and other analysis.- Knowledge and understanding of the applicable tools and practices used in data governance including query and data profiling techniques.- Proven skills in data analysis - including queries to calculate data quality.- Solid written, verbal, and analytical skills- Strong research and problem determination and solution skill- Design, implement, and optimize database schemas in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.- Collaborate with application developers to ensure efficient data models.- Monitor and enhance the performance of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.- Implement indexing strategies, query optimization techniques, and caching mechanisms.- Fine-tune database configuration parameters for optimal performance.- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for all database systems.- Conduct regular backups and test restoration procedures.- Implement disaster recovery plans and strategies.- Enforce database security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.- Regularly audit and review database security policies for compliance.- Set up comprehensive monitoring tools to proactively detect and respond to database issues.- Create custom scripts or alerts for specific database events.- Monitor system logs and database logs for errors and anomalies.- Develop and implement data integration strategies across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other data sources.- Design and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data efficiently.
