Consultant cyber -Associate Release Train Engineer (RTE) / Scrum master , Chennai - India

Our Cybersecurity Strategy Team works diligently to protect NielsenIQ’s data center and cloud components from cyber-attacks. We are driving a global security strategy through technology leader partnership, continuously evolving security approaches and alignment, analyzing industry frameworks and standards to drive more meaningful security outcomes, and actively searching for ways to drive more cohesive security capability delivery across our global estate.

This role will be part of Cybersecurity Strategy Team and will support the management of critical projects within the Agile Release Train (ART) and across all cyber teams. Candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Candidate must have understanding of agile best practices at the team and program levels. Emphasis will be on supporting the RTE in program delivery. The role of the Associate RET is to provide ART coaching as needed and directed by the RTE, lead key cybersecurity ceremonies for the RTE when needed, including PI planning, support the management of key reports for the Cybersecurity Teams. This role will be responsible for guiding cybersecurity teams and stakeholders on the use of processes, artifacts, tool usage and management, and intake for agile initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Help coach & guide the ART stakeholders on agile processes, tool usage and management
• Support RTE in planning and executing all Cybersecurity Agile ceremonies through process and technology execution
• Assist RTE with tracking the execution of Program Objectives, features, & capabilities
• Help document and manage program risks and escalations
• Support development and tracking of agile metrics and reporting
• Work directly with stakeholders to collect and identify relevant project information to be documented in Jira
• Understand Jira collaboration, workflow, data and document management requirements and opportunities
• Provide expertise on all aspects of Jira, including configuration, customization, administration, and integration
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement Jira best practices and solutions
• Train and support users on how to use Jira effectively
• Develop and maintain Jira documentation and knowledge bases
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Jira features and best practices
• Develop and maintain work management standards

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience working with Jira (specifically structuring work, creating reports, and managing sprints, etc) required.
• 2-3 years in scrum master or project management role required
• Strong leadership skills and result oriented
• Self-motivated and autonomous works with bias for action and adaption toward strategic goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language)
• 1-3 years experience working with SmartSheets and its integration with Jira preferred
• 1-3 years experience working with Jira Service Desk preferred
• Knowledge and experience working in an agile sprint-based environment – specifically using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus
• Experience working in cybersecurity is a plus
• 1-3 years of demonstratable experience designing, documenting, and implementing Power Platform and Power BI solutions is a plus
• 1-3 years building Power BI reports, datasets, and dashboards
• Innate curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a drive for simplification and automation.
