Job Description
Ensure planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes of Office Chairs.
Implement strategies in alignment to provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
Estimating production costs and setting the quality standards.
Responsible for procuring best quality raw material or office chair parts from different local vendors across PAN India at the best possible price.
Import office chair parts from reliable source at low cost without compromising in quality.
Roles Responsibilities
Responsible for costing of chairs to meet the target price.
Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
Working out the human and material resources to ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met.
Increase production, efficiency and flexibility while minimizing nonvalue added activities and maintaining product quality.
Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities through Lean and best practices implementation.
Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities.
Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions. Share a trusting relationship with workgroup from plant and management.
Collect and analyse data to find places of waste for improvements.
Will be responsible for process scrap, Inventory management and Quality parameters as a part of KPI.
Shop floor and workforce management.
To understand customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
Eligibility
B.E. or equivalent / Higher qualification with total 5+ years of experience in manufacturing with minimum 1-2 years in managerial position.
Planning and organization skills to be able run and monitor the production process.
Experience in procurement from reliable sources locally across PAN India.
Experience in import of Office Chair parts from reliable sources.
Who has experience in leading a team of at least 20 members or above.
The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers and vendors
Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines with the ability to work under pressure and multitask.
Hands on experience for Lean implementation, production systems, QC tools, EMS requirements.
Results-driven approach to work with the ability to work in a logical, systematic manner.
