Job description
Your role Are you interested in delivering new and exciting risk applications to support the first-ever integration of two Global Systemically Important Banks (GSIBs)? We're looking for someone to help integrate Risk Identification solutions following the acquisition. – Develop or enhance Java solutions using Angular, React and(or) AG grid UIs – Facilitate the migration of thousands of risks into developed or enhanced solutions – Manage UAT and demonstration sessions with key stakeholders – Elicit key information from business stakeholders, transforming these into concise IT requirements – Collaborate with other global IT and risk teams – Assist production operations team in rollout and production support Your team You’ll be working in the global Risk Identification team. We are a fast paced, highly motivated, delivery focused but friendly global team covering all businesses in the Firm. Our job is to maintain a comprehensive inventory of risks for the Board and Executive Management, and collaborate with Scenario Coverage, Risk Appetite, and Finance / Capital Planning functions to ensure proactive management of material unique vulnerabilities. Your experience and skills You have: - The ability to support a full stack platform development enhancement - At least 6 years of java experience, including hands on experience on SpringBoot Microservices - Hands on experience working with modern UI technologies such as Angular, React and AG gridboth UI and middleware technologies - Experience of working in agile teams - Good Excel Macro VBA experience - The following are highly desirable but not a strict prerequisite: o Credit or Market Risk experience o Product knowledge (Credit, Rates, Equities, FX, or other) You are: – An excellent communicator – Looking for an exciting challenge which impacts every business and risk function. – Self-starting attitude and the desire to take ownership of requirements front start to finish – Proactive, comfortable working in dynamic environments with fast-paced deliveries
