Works collaboratively with Business areas and IT staff, providing a structured approach to complex joint planning and coordination of studies, analysis, projects and programs which support the implementation of new business programs, processes, procedures, applications and technologies.
Manages Corporate and departmental programs and projects ensuring that the deliverables achieve Best Value results that meet the business goals and objectives of internal and external clients.
Provides program and project management leadership, structure and direction to globally distributed, culturally diverse, and organizationally matrixed teams. Promotes team communication via regular team meetings.
Assumes accountability for the actions and deliverables of the project team.
Promotes and contributes to the ongoing development of program and project management best practices.
Maintains an appropriate balance of planning, monitoring and execution to maximize the Corporate return on investment.
Ensures that all project work is properly and appropriately documented in a manner that satisfies or exceeds the requirements of policies, procedures, best practice and regulatory agencies.
Communicates issues and program/project status clearly and in a timely manner, based upon the tracking of quantitative metrics and milestones.
Works in conjunction with other team members, business units, IT staff and clients to identify, track, escalate and resolve project I program related issues.
Actively initiates and promotes an environment of co-evolving and collective learning within the Program & Account Management Team. Mentors and supports fellow team members.
Contributes to the definition and development of worldwide operating procedures and standards.
Works with IT Operations to identify and communicate necessary Parexel technical standards to sustain client needs which are compatible with the Parexel infrastructure.
Keeps abreast of business trends, industry standards and technological trends. Shows evidence of professional awareness in technical activities outside of immediate employment where possible.

Interface with Parexel business units to understand the Corporation's project and process related business needs.
Work towards understanding key technical and business issues and participate in converting into cross functional plans/projects.
Work with diverse sets of cross-functional technologists, support specialists and managers in defining information solutions.
Participate in all aspects of worldwide project management including initiation, planning, execution, control and closeout throughout all life cycle phases of a project.
Skills
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office SW package as ofVisio and MS Project.
Possess familiarity with system analysis and project management methodology and/or possession of a strong background in a functional business area such as human resources, finance, accounting, marketing/sales or clinical studies.

Education
BS in Business or Computer Information Systems or technical certification and equivalent experience.
