Job Description

National Key Account Manager – Ecommerce will play an important role in shaping the eCommerce strategy, working with set of key e-tailers & developing productive long-term relationships with them. Key Account Manager – Ecommerce oversees the online business plan, creates strategies to enhance performance in terms of distribution, display and sales targets. He/she is responsible for achieving targets within budget and other parameters. Developing new business opportunities and executing customized promotions to designated customers as well as planning, implementing and monitoring customized events at online portals are few other key responsibilities.

Main Duties and Functions

• Lead the overall strategy, planning and execution for the assigned eCommerce platforms

• Drive online sales on assigned ecommerce platforms as per company objective

• Identify and implement new opportunities to drive sales, visibility and efficiencies

• Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual sales action plans are aligned with the channel partners.

• Strict negotiation/implementation of TOT’s with customers for a win-win situation

• Achieve volume and value objectives of the E Commerce Accounts within budget, time and policy parameter.

• Co-create digital marketing plans along with marketing teams to ensure maximum brand visibility across platforms

• Develop promotional campaigns, consumer offers, partner in events and create impactful properties across the year to achieve the sales target

• Set KPI’s, measure performance of all activities and track ROI across portals.

• Conduct analysis and prepare MIS shared by platforms & leverage the information in accordance with brand strategy

• Work closely with regional teams to achieve business objectives – availability, gap-identification, order servicing, fill-rates and facilitate regional connect

• Work closely with cross-functional support teams (Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain

, etc)

Education & Experience

A proven track record of 8-10 years professional experience in Key Account Management, ideally with FMCG/FMCD background;

MBA from a reputed institute

• Strong analytical, planning and negotiation skills

• Strong communication and conceptual selling skills.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguity & demonstrates high energy, drive & perseverance.

• Highly consumer and customer - centricity

• Good interpersonal skills to navigate cross-functional teams and drive own agendas
