Introduction:

The candidate is expected to work in a high intensity, results oriented team environment as part of the Credit Client Strategy team in Mumbai, which is virtual extension of Global Credit Client strategy team. The candidate is responsible for producing Business Strategy presentations, Business Performance reviews, Marketing Material (Client Briefs), Presentation to monitor performance, owing competitor benchmarking to identify GAPs/solutions, owning/optimizing internal databases to facilitate internal KPI reviews and performing ad-hoc customized analysis. The candidate is expected to interact closely with counterparts in other regions and products to understand their requirements and deliver innovative and accurate result in minimum duration.

The role requires sound understanding of Credit Business and financial markets (Fixed Income Securities in particular), good eye for detail and an ability to liaise with the Senior Business Managers, Trading desks and Technology teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of critical business strategy inputs.

This role provides the opportunity to make a strong immediate contribution for applicants who are proactive, tenacious and eager to learn about multiple products and clients.


What will you be doing

o Produce Client Strategy / Trading Strategy reports for Desk Heads and Senior Management
o Create Account Plans / Game Plans for Key clients across Sales and Trading desk
o Automate current reports and develop new reports in Analytical tools like Qlikview, Tableau, (BO) Business Objects etc...
o Develop dashboards and various MIS reports analyzing volume, Revenue, Risk, Productivity, Client Interactions and Sectors etc..
o Provide Competitor Analysis landscapes (Coalition & EMTA) for Senior Management meetings
o Analyse Business Performance matrix for business/desk reviews
o Create Client Briefs and marketing material for client meetings
o Provide desk with ad-hoc analysis on client flows like buy/sell ratios, client buying patterns, desk coverage, sales interactions etc.
o Establish and maintain database with historic competitive analysis for Revenue, Client Wallet, Costs, Headcount, Productivity and Returns
o Produce ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and periodic decks for management meetings
o Produce periodic headcount reports and ad-hoc productivity analysis
o Create scorecards to monitor business objectives and propose required management actions
o Own key marketing materials used by Credit management like the Credit Pitchbook
o Drive the optimisation and automation of any databases and standardised reports


What we're looking for:

o Minimum 4 years of experience in Client Strategy or Business Management or COO functions
o Advance knowledge of Credit Business, their risk factors, Performance matrix and valuation
o Good MS Excel knowledge including VBA
o Experience of creating dashboards in Qlikview, Qliksense, Tableau, Business Objects, Python, SQL etc….
o Expert in Powerpoint presentations, writing reports and designing storyboards
o Excellent communication skills (oral/written)
o Good at Senior stakeholder engagement
o Strong Analytical Skills
o Aptitude for self-learning - Should be able to demonstrate a self-starting attitude
o Proactive in nature. Should be able to take decisions and support those.
o Team player

. Experience of working on Sales Analytics / Sales Credits / Coalition Analytics

Skills that will help you in the role:


o 1-2 years' experience in supporting Strategy or FPNA
o Strong understanding of Credit sales and products
o A good understanding of SQL, VBA & excel functionalities
o Good at Analytics, Problem Solving and statistics
o Proactive and believes in collaborative team work
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Management disciplines
