Job description
Qualification : BE in Mechanical Engineering
Experience : 3-7 Years
Key Skills :
•Design, validate, and optimize of BIW Subframe under body, upper body, platform, door & closures.
•Design and optimize for Quality, Cost, Delivery targets and ensure QCD targets.
•Perform reviews and recommend changes – design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA), design for six sigma (DFSS).
•Perform DFMEA for structural. Contribute to vehicle assembly level DFMEA from frame structure aspect.
•Develop the simulation and testing DVPs with respective teams for structural parts.
•Interpreting the outcomes of simulations and testing for improvement in designs.
•Work with cross functional teams including simulations, program, production, testing, manufacturing engineering, suppliers, etc.
•Product data management in database.
•Develop and update the Design Standard documents.
•Document the lessons learnt and manage the knowledge base.
•Experience in Sheetmetal 4W automobiles.
•Understanding on vehicle dynamics and static load parameters.
•Proficient in hand calculation on static as well as fatigue condition for all loading parts with respect to strength, stiffness, and weight.
•Engineering Materials and their applications.
•Knowledge of GD&T, stack tolerance and fit analysis.
