About The Role This is a hybrid role, where you will be working from our Islamabad office for 3 days a week and the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week.
Your working hours will be 11 am – 08:00 pm Pakistan time.
You Will Undertake The Preparation And Completion Of a Wide Range Of Accounts Preparation And Corporation Tax Computations And Assisting Clients With Queries. The Successful Candidate, Must Have Experience Of
- Reviewing year-end Journals, reconciling bank and other control accounts
- Preparation & review of CIS returns and VAT returns according to UK legislation.
- Preparation and review of the financial statements with disclosures required by FRS-105 and FRS-102
- Preparation and review of the corporation tax returns (CT600) according to UK tax legislation
- Full account completion under UK standards.
- Under taking book-keeping, reconciling all ledgers
- Reconciling the bank reconciliation
- Self assessment
- Processing payroll in Bright pay
- Filing with HMRC and Companies House
- Client dealing
- Team development and training
Qualifications Technical Skills / Knowledge - ACA/ACCA Part- Qualified/Qualified
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of UK based accounting experience is required
- Good knowledge of UK corporation tax, income tax and VAT and the impact on accounts and client's overall affairs
- Knowledge of the statutory and technical aspects concerning a set of UK limited company accounts
- Knowledge of the main accounting systems (eg Xero, Taxcalc, Quickbooks. Sage etc)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH formulas)
- Ability to work to deadlines and to be flexible as regards the hours and assignments worked
- Ability to communicate openly and build up excellent relationships with the team and clients
