Job description

Our client is currently specialized in providing high quality paid international internships/traineeships to university students/graduates and young professionals from all around the world in tourism and hotel management business administration finance sales & marketing and some fields of engineering.

Hospitality Intern:

  1. Guest Services: Engaging in guest interactions providing assistance and ensuring a positive experience.

  2. Reservations Management: Learning to manage reservations efficiently utilizing booking systems and optimizing room allocations.

  3. Front Desk Operations: Participating in front desk activities including checkin/out key issuance and handling billing processes.

  4. Event Coordination: Assisting in the planning and execution of events developing skills in logistics and organization.

  5. Customer Service: Addressing guest inquiries resolving issues promptly and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

  6. Administrative Tasks: Contributing to administrative duties such as filing data entry and recordkeeping.

  7. CrossDepartment Collaboration: Collaborating with various departments to understand the holistic operation of the hospitality industry.

  8. Learning Standards: Exposure to industry standards best practices and compliance requirements.

  9. Professional Development: Gaining valuable experience for personal and professional growth within the hospitality sector.

Culinary Intern:

  1. Kitchen Assistance: Supporting chefs in food preparation cooking and presentation.

  2. Menu Development: Participating in menu planning and contributing creative ideas to enhance culinary offerings.

  3. Food Safety: Learning and implementing proper food safety and hygiene practices in the kitchen.

  4. Ingredient Management: Assisting in inventory control procurement and ensuring freshness of ingredients.

  5. Cooking Techniques: Acquiring handson experience in various cooking techniques and methods.

  6. Collaboration: Working closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

  7. Quality Control: Participating in quality checks to maintain the standard and consistency of dishes.

  8. Kitchen Organization: Contributing to the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen space.

  9. Learning Culinary Arts: Gaining exposure to diverse cuisines and enhancing skills for future culinary endeavors.

Requirements

A degree or professional certificate from a foreign postsecondary academic institution and at least one

year of prior related work experience in his/her occupational field acquired outside the United States or

Combination of study work experience in the total of 5 years or more or

Five years of work experience outside the United States in his/her occupational field and who enters the

United States to participate in a structured and guided workbased training program in his/her specific

occupational field.
