Job description
We are seeking a talented and passionate AI Developer to join our growing team and play a key role in developing innovative AI solutions to address climate change and carbon challenges. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI models that analyze climate data, optimize carbon capture and storage, and support the transition to a low-carbon future. Responsibilities: Develop and implement AI models for various climate and carbon-related tasks, such as: Predicting extreme weather events Optimizing energy efficiency and grid management Monitoring and verifying carbon capture and storage projects Identifying and analyzing carbon emission sources Developing AI-powered tools for climate risk assessment and mitigation strategies Work closely with data scientists, climate scientists, and engineers to understand the specific needs and challenges of each project Design and implement robust machine learning pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI for climate and carbon applications Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Document your work clearly and concisely Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field 3+ years of experience developing and deploying AI models in Python Strong proficiency in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred) Familiarity with climate science and carbon capture and storage technologies (preferred) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for using AI to address climate change and environmental challenges Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects with real-world impact Collaborative and supportive work environment Flexible work arrangements (remote work encouraged) To Apply: Please submit your resume and cover letter to [email protected] We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
