CMT Pricing Audit Team is an integral player in enabling Amazon’s pricing strategy and operations. The team’s primary roles are to (1) perform proactive audits to prevent egregious pricing and generate ground truths to train the Pricing Models, and (2) perform reactive audits on post-publish prices.

The Operations Manager- Pricing Quality will be responsible for the strategy, quality, coordination and productivity of the Business Audit team in Chennai and will own a variety of function wide goals on process improvements, innovation & automation. The job involves ensuring operational rigor and designing high business impact processes. They will be point of contact to the 3P/retail teams of Amazon worldwide and must therefore be comfortable and confident liaising with remote teams and senior leaders and possess excellent written and verbal communications skills. The role involves influencing peers and stakeholders in other functions to achieve the operational and business goals assigned.
The successful candidate should have the ability to work at all levels of detail to accomplish team/organization goals. They will identify individual strengths of team members and contribute to talent advancement. The ideal candidate actively seeks to understand Amazon’s core business values and initiatives, and translates those into everyday practices.

- Operational Efficiency & Accuracy Metrics Management using automation and technology.
- Successful delivery on high business impact projects goals.
- Planning & Forecasting, Resource allocation and Prioritization of work to meet operational/business goals
- Quality & Process Excellence; Defect reduction across systems and manual processes; Process improvement, automation to scale, and development of new solutions

Chennai, TN, IND
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of team management experience
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience with data analysis and business case development, and managing programs from concept to implementation
- Knowledge of data mining using SQL
- Experience in translating business needs into detailed feature requirements
- Experience in e-commerce/Hi-tech/Retail industry or management consulting with focus on one of these industries
