As a Bank Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the bank audit process to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job location is Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India and the employment type is Full-Time.
Qualifications and Skills
- Certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 4 to 6 years of experience in bank audit or a related role
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and accounting principles
- Experience in conducting concurrent audits

- Ability to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive bank audit plan, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential improvement in the bank's audit processes
- Manage and lead a team of audit professionals, providing guidance and mentoring as needed
- Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and documentation to identify any irregularities or discrepancies
- Prepare audit reports with detailed findings and recommendations for management
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in bank audit
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective implementation of audit recommendations and process improvements
