Candidate should have an experience of 4-8 years as an Oracle database administration with in-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture and should have worked latest versions of SQL etc.
Good knowledge of SQL Database Architecture
Manage database objects like tablespace, user, table, Index, roles, privileges, profiles, DB Links, materialized views, partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes and other database objects etc
User management, create user, privileges and roles as required
Experience with Traditional exports/imports and Data pump.
Experience with backup and recovery
Installation, configuration and administration of SQL DB's.
Create physical/logical standby database and performing switch-over and fail-over
Demonstrated ability to implement High Availability, Workload Management and Fail Over, Disaster recovery
Expertise in debugging and analytical skills with solid grasp of system development methodologies, techniques and tool.
Perform regular health check of all production databases at instance level and take appropriate action in case of any threshold value is reached.
Monitor and tune the performance of SQL/Oracle database ongoing basis
