Job description

- This role will maintain current processes, create new performance standards, and problem solving to establish new ways of working together
- The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the inventory and SIOP activities within the global supply chain function (GSM)
- Primary activities include facilitating and implementing activities that improve processes/systems supporting inventory and SIOP functions across Hillenbrand
Work you'll Do:
Organizing data for Material Management System
- Gathering data from Plants
- Cleaning up and Organizing data in the business analysis tools
- Assisting with Analysis (ABC-XYZ Part profile)
Building Reporting for Sites
- Inventory and SIOP perioding reporting.
- Support daily management cadence with analysis reporting.
- Perform End of life product cycle management.
- Value stream solutions for Inventory reporting (RAW, WIP, FG, DIOH etc)
- Analysis reporting with suggested actions on burn down process.
Excess and Obsolete (E&O) analysis
- To develop the analysis report for E&O.
- Building database in Power BI for E&O.
- Analysis reporting with suggested actions on burn down process.
Supporting month close activities related to inventory and policy implementation across organization.
Establish lean processes to support effective daily management and problem solving.
Performing detailed analysis for site & GSM
Team:
- This role will be setup in the Hillenbrand Global shared service Organization - Coimbatore, India supporting corporate functions (primarily Inventory and SIOP) within Hillenbrand
- This role will be working with multiple operating companies and partnering with a diverse and cross-functional team
- This role will have the opportunity to work with and learn from teams that are geographically diverse (Asia, Europe, and North America) and expected to interact with various functional groups data systems (GSM, Plant Operations, Sales, Commercial, Engineering, etc)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management, data Science, or a related field with a minimum 5 years of work experience in similar industry
- ERP functional skills for Materials Management and Inventory Management.
- Familiar with Standard costing, analysis of slow/non-moving inventory, vendor managed inventory, reconciliation of sub contracted inventory, ratio analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Competent in building Power BI reports, creating interface between ERP and BI reports for auto updates, and publishing reports from Power BI to SharePoint and other shared spaces.
- Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience strongly preferred
