Job description
This position will be part of the Agile based product team developing and supporting solutions to support the products within Ford Customer Service Systems Product Line. The position will serve as team member developing and supporting full stack java based solutions.
This position will be part of the Agile based product team developing and supporting solutions to support the products within Ford Customer Service Systems Product Line. This position will allow for continued technical development and growth using the latest software development tools and methodologies within Ford. The position will serve as team member developing and supporting full stack Java based solutions on one of the following product teams:
ESB/Ford Protect Services Product Team: developing software to support Extended Service Business (ESB) globally by re-engineering and commonizing of ESB processes, business practices, and systems. This initiative will develop the processes and IT services needed to achieve the goals and objectives of the Global Ford Protect ESB Business Plan.
Battery ReX Product Team: developing software to support Battery Service Track and Trace functionality for Electric Vehicles (BEV) while learning the associated business processes critical to Ford Sustainability and Circular Economy strategy for Battery Electric Vehicles.
4+ years of IT experience Requried
4+ years of Java development (e.g. SpringBoot, SpringFW, TDD with JUnit, Micro Services, Apigee Gateway, and Security Framework, Liberty)
4+ years of Development experience using Angular 11+ (e.g. PrimeNG or Bootstrap, unit test with Jasmine and Karma, Angular CLI , REACT, etc).
4+ years of experience with SQL databases in query development and performance tuning (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, etc.)
4+ years of experience in an Agile environment developing Java/Spring Boot applications
4+ years of cloud platform development (Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), etc.)
4+ years API Development experience using RESTful / JSON / SOAP Frameworks
4+ years of deploying software using continuous integration/continuous delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, Tekton, Maven, Gradle, etc.)
4+ years of monitoring tool such as Splunk, Dynatrace or other monitoring tool to trouble shooting prod issues
4+ years of working experience using GitHub
Excellent communication skills
Experience Preferred:
Development experience using ETL tools (Data Fusion, Dataflow, SSIS, DataStage) a plus
Development experience using Java technology to access Mainframe (IMS/DB2 environment) a plus
Prior IT experience within Ford Motor/OEM automotive company
Prior experience withing Ford/OEM Customer Service - Extended Service Business IT systems landscape
