Business Insights & Analytics u2013 First Party Data : Tagging Analyst

As Eli Lilly strives to achieve its purpose of making life better for patients, we have been building up our in-house u2018Consumer Experienceu2019 function, which will design and execute next-generation marketing campaigns aimed at informing and educating consumers (or patients) directly.

To support the Consumer marketing teams in their decision-making, a data and analytics team has been set up in Indianapolis (HQ) and Bengaluru (LCCI). This team uses works closely with business stakeholders to enable them to make more informed, data driven decisions. A key area of expansion for the team in 2024 is to help facilitate the implementation of a CDP (customer data platform). As part of this team, we are excited to offer the role of a tagging analyst who will be an integral part of the implementation and scaling of this CDP.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage the processes for capturing, storage, usage and tracking of online activity from web sites and mobile apps
• Define and implement tagging strategies using Tealium.
• Provide guidance to develop tagging framework and provide QA support
• Develop and modify JavaScript code and Analytics plugins to execute web analytics strategies
• Assist partner/client in implementing data layer on their digital properties.
• Maintenance of tags, segments, reports and marketing channel
• Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR) when handling customer data.

Required

• Experience working with tagging technologies (Tealium) is required
• Proven experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) or Data Management Platform (DMP) or CRM tool is preferred.
• Experience working on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Server-side tagging experience is preferred
• Familiarity with web analytics methodologies - experimentation and testing, A-B and Multivariate testing, Landing pages, Search Engines
• Prior experience of web analytics and reporting would be preferred

Education:

• Bachelors or masters in a technology related field would be preferred but is not mandatory
