Admissions Officer

BWBS Education Consultants is looking for an enthusiastic, driven, flexible and highly proficient candidate.

We are a British Council certified, UCAS registered, ICEF accredited and Trinity College London Listed representative agency that provides education counselling and full application support to place international students into UK Universities. The successful candidate will be part of BWBS Lagos branch team and will support the recruitment function of our Lagos office. The candidate should have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. As the candidate will be working from our Lagos Branch office, he/she should be highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working with differences in time zones to adapt to UK working hours occasionally.

Job Responsibilities

Explaining admissions processes and requirements to prospective students and to their agents, parents, guardians, family members and sponsors
Delivering training sessions, including presentations, to agents, prospective students, BWBS staff/team members and other key stakeholders
Contacting and maintaining effective communication with BWBS staff/team members, potential students and their agents, parents, guardians, family members and sponsors via phone call, text messages, Video conference and emails
Maintaining accurate record keeping in BWBS database systems in a timely manner in line with the company policy guidance
Submitting reports to the Managers on a daily basis to ensure optimal 'conversion' rate (i.e. the ratio between number of initial queries received and number of students physically enrolled)
Developing and maintaining an excellent knowledge base about BWBS and its partner institutions' services and products
Collecting students' academic, immigration and other necessary documents and submitting applications to Universities
Assisting and participating in online or physical International recruitment events organised by BWBS
Performing any additional duties which would be related to any digital marketing and promotional work if required
Performing any other duties as directed by BWBS management, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position

Employment Status
Full-time permanent position with one-year rolling contract subject to successful completion of 3 months probation period.

Working hours
Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Local Time

Minimum Educational Requirements

A bachelor's degree in any discipline or an A Level (equivalent qualification.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of one year of previous experience in the international student admission industry is required.
Skills Requirements

Outstanding English speaking and writing skills (mandatory)
Adaptability, creative thinking, time management and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and team working skills
Software skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Salary
Between 20,000 to 30,000 Rupees per calendar month. (negotiable based on Experiences)
Benefits

Bonus incentive:

2,000 Rupees per student for every successful recruitment solely and fully converted by yourself

20,000 Rupees per student for every successful recruitment sourced through personal network (e.g. friends and relatives) and solely and fully converted by yourself

Salary increment opportunity at the end of every year based on performance

Paid Holiday: 11 days of paid holiday from India's national holiday calendar.

General Information or Disclaimer
Probation period is 3 months from the date of officially starting work after induction and training is completed.

Induction and training period before officially starting work is 3 working days (not 3 calendar days). You will not receive any remuneration for these 3 working days should we decide not to give clearance to you to officially start work. However, if we decide to give clearance to you to officially start work after induction and training then you will be paid for these 3 working days when you receive your first remuneration.

Notice period to leave/stop providing work is 2 months. You cannot leave/stop providing work without 2 months prior notice in writing (via email) to us. If you leave/stop providing work without 2 months prior notice then you will not receive the final month's remuneration and remaining insurance balance of first 2 months.
