Job Title : Senior DevOps EngineerLocation : Bangalore / RemoteJob Description :We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in DevOps roles, with a strong background in startups or fast-paced environments. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of our systems.Responsibilities :- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process and ensure rapid and reliable releases.- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime.- Implement and maintain security best practices across the infrastructure stack, including network, application, and data security.- Automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes to improve efficiency.- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.- Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 8+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a proven track record of designing and managing complex cloud infrastructure.- Extensive experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.- Strong background in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.- Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.- Expertise in monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.- Excellent scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.Preferred Qualifications :- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).- Experience working in a startup environment or other fast-paced, agile organizations.- Knowledge of serverless computing technologies such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.- Familiarity with infrastructure security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC) (ref:hirist.tech)
