Job description
To ensure that all our engineering designs meet the required industry standards, including RDSO, UIC, ARAI, EN, and ISO specifications, and to facilitate the acquisition of relevant certifications through meticulous technical review and liaison with certification agents. Role & responsibilities: Design Compatibility. Thoroughly review and understand the technical documentation related to RDSO, UIC, ARAI, EN, and ISO standards. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive and precise documents to showcase our design's compliance with the required standards. Patent Preparation: Draft and prepare necessary documentation for patent filings. Liaison with Certification Agents: Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with certification agents. Coordinate with them to facilitate a smooth certification process. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with any revisions or introduction of new standards in railways, roads, and other relevant industries. Feedback Mechanism: Communicate regularly with the design and development team to ensure they are aware of the compliance requirements and any modifications needed. Reporting: Regularly update management on the compliance status of current projects, potential risks, and suggest solutions. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with different departments like R&D, Legal, and Production to ensure a streamlined approach to compliance. Preferred candidate profile: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Masters Degree preferred. Minimum 3 experience in a similar role or a role requiring technical standards comprehension. Strong understanding of RDSO, UIC, ARAI, EN, and ISO standards. Familiarity with patent filing processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand complex technical documentation. Salary: 3-3.6 LPA Desirable Attributes: Prior experience in the railways or roads industry. Professional certification related to compliance or quality assurance.
