Job description
Responsibilities
Book Closing & Audit – 60%- Monthly financial books close for all Commercial Coal and Iron Ore companies as per calendar from R2R Team; Finalize review with AGM / BU Controller as per given timeline.
- Review on Trial balance - Monthly basis, maintain GL discipline in mining vertical, accounting hygiene in all companies, Clean up old balances (with vendors / customers reconciliation), institute GL review and scrutiny (review on monthly basis);
- Monthly review on pending compliances need to submit to management with action taken on particular month and status
- Preparation of Board presentation on the Financials on a quarterly basis
- Review Charts of Accounts with IT, Abex and site teams for all Commercial Coal and Iron Ore companies, set up accounting requirements / processes in new project companies.
- Ensuring follow up and discussion on compliances/ matters as details by Statutory, Internal, Tax and Cost auditors with support to concerned department in implementing recommendations
II. Financial Data Validation & Taxation Compliances– 40%- Direct Tax compliances:- Coordinating and Providing various inputs for timely filing of Income Tax Returns, SFT, 26AS Income Reconciliations, TDS/TCS Compliances, Income Tax Registrations for new entities
- Indirect Tax compliances:- Ensuring proper availment of GST Credit, coordinating with various users for 2A Reconciliations, GST Registration for new entities.
- Support in new process implementation (process audit review and monitoring ) with auditors and management
- Meeting with ABEX to review process and for compliance of all pending points.
- Arbitration -'To support in discussion, data / details collation under various project claims - ongoing / Planned
Hands on Experience of SAP ERP and very good in MS Office like Excel and PPT
Qualifications Educational Qualification: - Essential: CA
- Desired: CA , with exposure in R2R, Direct Taxation & Indirect Taxation
Years' Experience - 4-8 Years' experience in finance and accounts in a large organization (Manufacturing or Mining Industry )
