An excellent opportunity has arisen in our India Building Services team for an Associate Electrical Engineer.
This is a critical project and technical leadership role which will see you managing a small team of electrical engineers and driving outstanding sustainability outcomes on a range of projects in India and further afield. You'll be part of a wider regional office of around 60 employees, collaborating closely the diverse ecosystem of specialisms across Buro Happold, ranging from

We are looking for a candidate equally comfortable in hands-on technical delivery as they are in commercial management, project leadership and business development.

- Leadthe electrical discipline on projects on behalf of the group (operating as Job or Project Leader as appropriate), taking ownership for sustained andproductive client relationships.
- Communicating directly with Clients, offering innovative design solutions and managing expectations. Further developing relationships with existing and new clients including contractors, architects and developers.
- Preparing technical and financial proposals for new work.
- Managing workload of engineers and technicians
- Preparing Technical Specifications.
- Monitor financial performance of jobs as well as setting up and managing job/project administrative systems, including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure.
- Undertake project technical/quality reviews and attend designreviewsfor projects.Undertake site visits as needed for the smooth operation of the project(s).

- Previous experience in an electrical job leader role.
- Local project experience in Indian residential project.
- Strong English skills are essential.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering.
- AutoCAD and similar software skills.
- Excel (a detailed understanding including the use of macros).
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Chartership with a relevant institution - e.g. CIBSE, HKIE.
