IBM CMOD Consultant
We are seeking an experienced IBM Content Manager on Demand (CMOD) Administrator to support the archive in both on-premises and cloud environments. The role involves installation, configuration, and problem management resolution, ensuring systems are production-ready.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure IBM CMOD in a Distributed Environment, managing Production Environments.
- Configure CMOD Components in a Highly Available Mode.
- Develop scripts using Perl or Bash for automation purposes.
- Migrate CMOD archive data across platforms, operating systems, and data centers.
- Migrate CMOD applications from one environment to another.
- Fine-tune, troubleshoot, and analyze performance problems.
- Write runbooks and create automation using scripts/Ansible.
Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Linux and AIX environments.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in CMOD Administration (Version 9.x/10.x).
- Understanding of Disaster Recovery Procedures.
- Strong experience with DB2, Perl, or Bash scripting (4+ years).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently (self-starter) and in team environments.
- Installation and Configuration experience of IBM CMOD in a Distributed Environment.
- Configuration experience of CMOD Components in a Highly Available Mode.
- Knowledge of CMOD Architecture and various deployment strategies.
- Experience in migrating CMOD applications between environments.
- Fine-tuning, troubleshooting, and analyzing performance problems.
Preferred:
- Experience with IBM ECM Products like FileNet P8, Case Manager.
- Automation experience for installations and deployments using tools like Ansible and scripts like Python, shell scripts.
- Knowledge of Load Balancers, AIX, Linux, Windows.
- Prior experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace.
- Prior experience in a Cloud environment.
