Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer with expertise in Databricks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our BI solutions using Databricks and other relevant technologies. The BI Developer will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other IT professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality and insightful analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. BI Solution Development:

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end BI solutions using Databricks.
• Create and optimize data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

1. Data Modeling:

• Develop and maintain data models that support business reporting and analytics requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability.

1. Databricks Expertise:

• Demonstrate expertise in Databricks for big data processing and analytics.
• Utilize Databricks notebooks for data exploration, transformation, and analysis.

1. Data Visualization:

• Create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to meet business requirements.
• Ensure effective communication of complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

1. Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions to ensure efficient and timely delivery of reports and dashboards.

1. Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand and address BI requirements.

1. Documentation:

• Document data models, ETL processes, and BI solution configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference.

1. Quality Assurance:

• Implement and adhere to best practices for data quality and governance.
• Conduct testing and validation of BI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to BI and Databricks.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices..
