'Solaris Administration:
Install and maintain all Solaris server hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Manage and troubleshoot Solaris-based systems, addressing any performance or reliability issues.
Veritas Cluster:
Design, implement, and maintain Veritas Cluster configurations for high availability and failover capabilities.
Perform routine testing and simulations to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of Veritas Cluster solutions.
Backup and Restoration:
Manage system backups for Solaris servers and contribute to the efficient restoration of operations.
Provide training to users on backup and restoration processes to ensure smooth recovery procedures.
Automation and Scripting:
Develop and manage system tools for automation processes, scripting, and configuration management.
Oversee capacity planning and implement automation solutions to streamline administrative tasks.
Integration and Support:
Integrate essential software and address challenges across various technologies, providing backup support for Solaris servers.
Evaluate system requirements, design and development activities, and administer advanced processes.
Infrastructure Management:
Create and manage an infrastructure to meet business requirements, conducting frequent system troubleshooting for Solaris environments.
Monitor daily systems, assess server resource availability, and perform necessary Solaris administration tasks.
Virtualization and Configuration:
Assist in the setup and deployment of virtual machines within Solaris environments.
Install and backup configuration procedures for Solaris-based systems.
Patch Management and Security:
Maintain and monitor patch releases for Solaris systems, implementing procedures to keep systems up-to-date.
Conduct audits on security procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Solaris certification is preferred.
Strong hands-on experience with Veritas Cluster configurations.
Proficient in Solaris administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies within Solaris environments.
Excellent networking skills, including the ability to troubleshoot issues and manage sessions.'
(1.) To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. (2.) To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management (3.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives. (4.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases (6.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
